If the timer does not start after the activation of Infinite Lives, the app cache might be outdated. To fix the issue try these steps:
Android
- Go to the device's Settings
- Tap Apps or Application manager
- Select Lost Island App
- Under Storage or Cache, tap Clear cache
iOS
- Double-click the Home button
- Swipe up on Lost Island to close it
- Relaunch the game
