Collect the full set of Modules required to research a given Technology. Depending on the Technology, 2 to 12 Modules are required to begin research (Module 1, Module 2, Module 3 etc.). You receive a new Module from your Tech Advisor each day you log in to the game; each Module applies to an unresearched Technology. If you get two or more identical Modules, you can trade them for the Modules you need at the Trade Gateway.
Once you have collected the full set of required Modules and accumulated the necessary amount of Resources, you can begin researching that Technology. Remember, in order to research some Technologies, you need to first construct certain buildings in your Sector. Make sure you have built them before attempting research.
