Dominance Points are used to determine an Alliance’s position in the Alliance Rankings.
Your total of Dominance Points is calculated as follows (in this order):
1. By converting the territory of an Alliance’s held Black Sites into Dominance Points. 1 sq. km of territory equals 1000 Dominance Points.
2. By taking into account any percentage bonuses from the Alliance’s Achievements. These percentage bonuses are applied to the Alliance’s Dominance Points.
3. Then, by adding the Points bonuses from the Alliance’s Achievements; each Achievement carries its own additional reward, in Dominance Points, which is added to the Alliance’s total number of Dominance Points.
4. By applying the percentage bonus from the Alliance’s Alliance Tech.
5. By applying Dominance Points from the Alliance’s Alliance HQ.
Example:
Alliance A controls 2 Black Sites with a total 10 sq. km of territory. The Alliance also has a few Achievements that increase their score by 5%. Firstly, 10 sq. km territory is converted into 10,000 Dominance Points, then the 5% bonus from the Achievements is applied, making 10,500 Dominance Points. Each Achievement also carries an additional reward in terms of Dominance Points, which is then added to give the total Dominance Points. In this case, the rewards that this Alliance had earned from various Achievements amounted to 100, meaning that the Alliance’s Total Dominance equals 10600. Lastly, any percentage bonus from Alliance Tech and the static bonus from the Alliance HQ would be factored in.
